To unite, promote and support organisations and individuals whose common interests and goals are for pole and aerial sports to be a tool for development and peace by connecting people all over the world, implementing or supporting projects on the field, and empowering them to serve as models; making pole and aerial sports popular, universal and inclusive. To position the APS World League as one of the leading world-wide sporting organisations.

Every individual must have the same opportunities to participate in sports and recreation and be enabled to participate at any, and all levels to reach their full potential.
The enormous benefits to be derived from sport and leisure activities must be promoted to increase participation in recreational leisure to elite competition.
APSWL is independent, impartial, objective and balanced.
APSWL strives to facilitate the exchange of information, transfer of knowledge, best practise, and experience within and among its members. It aims to centralise and coordinate expertise and utilise this to enhance and accelerate the development of all members and stakeholders for the benefit of aerial and pole sports.
